About the event

Willow Tree Medicine Immersion

Grandmother, Water & the Living Land

19th September | 10am–6pm | Tenbury Wells

You are invited to a day held in ceremony and communion with Willow as our teacher and guide. Held on ancient land, gathering within the womb of an Earth Lodge around sacred fire, we enter a space of devotion, listening, and remembrance.

Rooted in Plant Spirit Medicine, this work invites relationship with the consciousness of the trees and plants. Through ritual, embodied practice, and deep presence, Willow works with us energetically, emotionally, and physically, meeting each person exactly where they are. This is an intimate and personal journey held in collective resonance and supported by an experienced, trauma-informed team throughout the day.

In folklore, Willow has long been associated with the moon, the tides, the underworld, and the ancestral realms. Sacred to goddesses such as Hecate, Persephone, and Cerridwen, Willow is a liminal tree, growing at the edges of rivers and lakes, bridging worlds, holding space for grief, initiation, and rebirth. In Celtic tradition, Willow is linked to enchantment, intuition, and poetic inspiration, often standing as a doorway between the seen and unseen.

Energetically, Willow teaches us how to yield rather than resist. Her medicine supports emotional release, particularly grief, sorrow, and the unexpressed weight carried in the body. Willow helps us to feel without drowning, to let tears become prayers, and to trust the intelligence of flow. She invites us into deep listening, to the waters of the body, the voice of the ancestors, and the wisdom that emerges when we allow ourselves to be moved.

Medicinally, Willow has been used for thousands of years as a tree of pain relief and inflammation support. Containing salicylates (the original source of aspirin), Willow has traditionally supported headaches, menstrual pain, joint inflammation, and fevers. Beyond physical pain, Willow is a powerful ally for emotional and nervous system soothing, offering steadiness during times of transition and release.

For Many, Willow is a Grandmother tree and is known to help with inner child healing and support, cradling us in her flowy arms with unconditional love. She can embody protection in the unseen realms, like an ancestor watching over those who come after.

This is a deep dive into the self and the mysteries of the living land, an invitation to soften into your own depths, awaken embodied knowing, and deepen your relationship within the web of life.

More about Breathwork

This retreat uses conscious connected breathwork, a powerful technique that gently guides you beyond the thinking mind and into the wisdom of the body.

By breathing with this technique, we can activate the body’s natural healing intelligence- allowing emotions, energy, and tension to move and release. This process can help to:

     •          Calm the nervous system and reduce stress

     •          Release stored emotion or energetic blockages

     •          Boost clarity, creativity, and inner peace

     •          Deepen self-awareness and connection to intuition

Throughout the session, you’ll be safely guided to explore your inner landscape with compassion. Music, intention, and grounded facilitation create a sacred container for you to journey within and reconnect with your essence.

This breathwork is not about control -it’s about allowing. It’s a return to flow, to trust, and to the quiet wisdom that has always been inside you.

Conscious connected breathwork can be a powerful and transformative practice that influences the body, mind, and nervous system. It’s important to be mindful if you experience any of the following conditions, and you may wish to seek advice from a healthcare professional before taking part:
