Plant Medicine

Working with the medicine of the land is one of humanity’s oldest and most universal healing traditions. Long before modern systems of medicine, humans learned by listening, by observing how plants grow, where they thrive, how they affect the body, emotions, and spirit. Across cultures and continents, plants have been recognised not only for their physical properties, but for their consciousness, intelligence, and spirit.

In many indigenous and earth-based traditions, plants and trees are understood as teachers and allies. They carry specific qualities and work with us on multiple levels. Deepening our relationship to the natural world involves presence, respect, ritual, and reciprocity. We don’t “take” medicine, we enter into dialogue with it.

Here in the UK, we are blessed with a rich lineage of native plant and tree medicine, even though much of this knowledge was suppressed or fragmented over time. The land itself still remembers.

These beings have been companions to the people of these isles for thousands of years. They appear in folklore, seasonal rites, hedge witch traditions, and Celtic cosmology. Many are deeply connected to the Wheel of the Year, marking thresholds, initiations, death and rebirth, protection, and fertility. When we reconnect with native plants we are remembering what has always been here.

In a modern context, this reconnection is especially important. Many people feel disconnected from nature, from their bodies, and from ancestral roots. Working with the plants and trees of this land can restore a sense of belonging, grounding, and continuity.

My work with plant and tree medicine is rooted in nurtured relationship, intuition, and lived experience. I hold space for you to create your own relationships to these spirits in a way that is organic to you.

The medicines I predominantly work with (but not exclusively) are Mugwort, Yew, Willow, Silver Birch, Pine, Rose, Oak, Ivy, Holly & Hawthorn

Rose Immersion

Devotion to the Heart & the Living Land

13th June | 10am–6pm | Tenbury Wells

You are invited to a day held in ceremony and communion with Rose as our teacher and guide. Held on ancient land, gathering within the womb of an Earth Lodge around sacred fire, we enter a space of devotion, listening, and remembrance.

Rooted in Plant Spirit Medicine, this work invites relationship with the living intelligence of the plants. Through ritual, embodied practice, and deep presence, Rose works with us energetically, emotionally, and physically, meeting each person exactly where they are. This is an intimate and personal journey held in collective resonance and supported by an experienced, trauma informed team throughout the day.

Willow Immersion

Grandmother, Water & the Living Land

19th September | 10am–6pm | Tenbury Wells

In folklore, Willow has long been associated with the moon, the tides, the underworld, and the ancestral realms. Sacred to goddesses. Willow is a liminal tree, bridging worlds, holding space for grief, initiation, and rebirth. In Celtic tradition, Willow is linked to enchantment, intuition, and poetic inspiration, often standing as a doorway between the seen and unseen.

Energetically, Willow teaches us how to yield rather than resist. Her medicine supports emotional release, particularly grief, sorrow, and the unexpressed weight carried in the body. Willow helps us to let tears become prayers, and to trust the intelligence of flow. She invites us into deep listening, to the waters of the body, the voice of the ancestors, and the wisdom that emerges when we allow ourselves to be moved.
