About the event

CONSCIOUS DANCE EVENT WITH CACAO

An evening of pure enjoyment, connection & bliss!!

Join us for a soul-nourishing evening of epic soul music, movement, heart-opening cacao, and community connection.

Held by three experienced facilitators, this immersive evening invites you to awaken your body, drop into your heart, and dance freely in a safe, supportive space.

We will begin with a gentle opening circle to land together, ground our intentions, and tune in to the energy of the space. This will be followed by a ceremonial cacao offering (or Rose Tea), using this sacred plant medicine to open the heart and deepen our connection to ourselves, each other, and the rhythms of life.

You’ll then be invited to dance away at your hearts content to some amazing tunes where movement becomes a language of the soul.

There is no choreography, no judgment — just freedom, expression, and flow.

We will close the evening with a closing circle to integrate and honour the energy we've co-created.

Come join us in this all-inclusive space to:

Reconnect with your body and inner wisdom

Experience the joy of uninhibited movement

Deepen your connection to the heart through cacao

Be held in a sacred, welcoming space

Celebrate community, creativity, and presence

A little about Cacao:

Known as the “food of the gods,” cacao is a gentle plant medicine traditionally used in ritual to open the heart, enhance clarity, and support emotional release. It invites us to become more present, more open, and more connected — to ourselves and each other.

ROSE TEA WILL BE OFFERED FOR ANYONE SEEKING AN ALTERNATIVE TO CACAO

Contraindications to be mindful of when consuming cacao

Antidepressants:

Cacao contains tyramine, which can react negatively with MAOI-based antidepressants, potentially leading to severe nausea, headaches, and other adverse effects. SSRIs and other antidepressants may also interact, so it's best to consult with a doctor or pharmacist about appropriate dosage or alternatives.

Heart Conditions:

Cacao's theobromine content can increase heart rate and potentially lower blood pressure, which could be problematic for individuals with serious heart conditions or those on blood pressure-lowering medication.

Bleeding Disorders:

Cacao may affect blood clotting, so those with bleeding disorders or taking blood-thinning medications should exercise caution and consult with a doctor.

Pregnancy:

While some women use cacao during pregnancy, it's generally recommended to consult with an obstetrician for personalized advice.

Allergies:

Some individuals may be sensitive or allergic to theobromine, potentially causing headaches or migraines. Starting with a low dose and monitoring your body's response is advisable.

Other Stimulants:

Combining cacao with other stimulants like caffeine can lead to increased heart rate and blood pressure, so it's best to be mindful of other stimulants you may be consuming.

It reminds me that all spiritual paths begin in the heart"
